Founded in 1996, we currently operate a 56 acre natural habitat sanctuary for the equine that come to us. In trying to be the benchmark for animal care, we were selected as the first equine welfare organization to be enrolled in the NYS Horse Health Assurance Program and remain the only welfare organization enrolled 3 years consecutively. We also have a 7 and 2 year association with our BOCES and AHRC programs locally, as well as being selected as the Hudson Valley's best friends to horses in 2008.
